THE MAYANS

Ruins in the jungles of Guatemala and Yucatan can be compared with the pyramids of Egypt.
The ground area of the pyramid of Cholula, sixty miles south of Mexico City, is bigger than that of the pyramid of Cheops. The pyramid field of Teotihuacan, twenty five miles north of Mexico City, covers an area of almost eight square miles, and all the structures are aligned with celestial bodies..
The calendar of the Mayans, the most precise in the world, it has been proven that all of the pyramids in the region were built according to it. That is the Chichen Itza, Tikal, Copal, Palenque were built according to the standards of the Mayan Calendar.
The Mayans did not build Temples and Pyramids because they needed them; they built them because the Mayan Calendar stated that a fixed number of steps of a building had to be completed every fifty two years. Every stone has its relation to the calendar; every completed building conforms exactly to certain astronomical requirements.
In A.D. 600 something quite astounding happened. For no apparent reason the whole Mayan civilization left its Temples, pyramids cities and moved only two hundred twenty miles to the north. The jungles ate its way through the building and streets, it broke up the masonry and left it into the ruins that we find today. No one has ever returned there!
In Egypt for generations the people built pyramids, cities, streets, water conduits and temples according to calendar dates. When this was completed, and this went on for hundreds of years, they also moved to the north, which amounted to a barren desert with nothing that was life supporting or nothing that offered shelter, established farming or fishing at the time.
What caused these civilizations to uproot and leave highly civilized and industrious locations? Was there a revolution, a civil war, famine, disease? Speculation has been presented but nothing that makes sense. Not only did they leave such very established population centers with all the comforts associated with them like food and water. But it leads one to wonder why did they move two hundred and twenty miles into the middle of snake, insect, rodent infested jungle without any nearby water supply. When I say nearby I mean hundreds of miles from the coast.
The pyramid at Tikal is two hundred thirty six miles from the Pacific Ocean. One hundred and ten miles from the Gulf of Honduras and a hundred and fifty miles from the Bay of Campeche. There was later discovered thirteen reservoirs capable of holding over two hundred cubic yards of water. But why didn’t they resettle on a river? What was so important about this piece of real estate in the middle of the jungle?
The ancient Mayan civilization from the Cholula and Teotihuacan made the two hundred twenty mile flight into the middle of the jungle to the north to where the pyramid of Chichen Iza now stands.
They again built their cities temples and homes, a great pyramid , reservoirs, streets, shops and a great civilization according to the laws of the calendar. They also built a great observatory. In the dome of the observatory were sky lights and hatches at precise locations directed at the stars giving a very astounding view of the night sky. The outer wall bears witness to the rain god and also a winged human figure. It is interesting to note that the sky light are not aimed at the brightest stars but at Uranus and Neptune, and how did simple jungle natives even know of these stars and or planetary systems.
Let’s try this as an explanation, at some point, gods or “space travelers”, visited the Mayan and Egyptian civilization. In the case of the Mayans there were Sacred Traditions, guarded by the Priests. Traditions of astronomy, mathematics, and the calendar.
The priests guarded these traditions because the “gods” promised to return one day. They created a new religion called Kukulkan the Feathered Serpent. Some say that kukulkan is synonymous with the Yucatan whose capital is Chechen Itza, the capital today of Yucatan and the center of the Kukulkan Religion.
According to the laws of the calendar and the holy ones, the gods would return and live amongst them when all of the buildings, observatories, reservoirs, temples, pyramids and the civilization have been built to the letter of the calendar.
